Habitat Helpers: Build a Bee Palace!

In this conservation-focused workshop, participants learned about the importance of pollinators to our ecosystem and created houses for solitary bees, such as mason bees.

The bee houses were housed in a wood frame and filled with paper tubes for bees to nest in and moss to keep the house insulated for winter hibernation.

Participants also took home raspberry plant seedlings to plant near their bee houses to attract new tenants!
